Every coastline. Every ocean.

From the Baltic to the Gulf of Finland, the Med, the Channel, and both American coasts — if a boat is broadcasting AIS, you can spot it.

Send a message.

Under any handle you like — real name or pseudonym, your call.

03

Claim your own boat to read the replies.

And see who's been spotting you along the coast.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see any vessels on the map?
AIS data is only available in areas with coastal or inland AIS receiver coverage. Check that you are online and that the map is centred on an area where vessels are reporting.
How do I claim my own boat?
Tap your vessel on the map, open the detail sheet, and press Claim. You'll need to be signed in. Every claim goes through a quick verification step before it's approved.
How do I message a boat?
Open the vessel detail sheet and tap the chat icon. You can message any AIS-broadcasting vessel — claimed or not. The owner reads the messages once they've claimed the boat.
Does AIS Social work offline?
No. AIS is a real-time stream, so the app needs an internet connection to display current vessel positions.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us at info@humeko.com with a short description and — if possible — a screenshot. We read every message.
